The need to re-brand Norwich Union makes me think "what have NU management been doing that has damaged their brand so much that they need to replace it with an AXA look-alike?". The "promise" seems to be some improvement in business behaviour and the recognition of their clients as individuals. Why did they not do that already????
And will a name change REALLY change entrenched behaviour. These are the guys who were so client-centered that they sent their UK call-centres to India - no harm to India but as a client I want to talk to someone who knows my situation in the UK not to a person just working off a script who does not know the realities of life here.
Is this another Post Office becoming Consignia fiasco?? NU I understood - Aviva means nothing and I would rather have lower premiums than a senior management ego trip thank you.
